REGISTER TO VOTE IN COLORADO
As a result of changes in state statute, Colorado is now an all mail-in ballot state. You can register to vote in Colorado by following the steps below. The new law also allows same-day registration in person at one of the three Voting Centers in Pitkin County (if you are a Pitkin County resident), as long as you meet the eligibility criteria in Step 1 below.

STEP 1 - MEET THE CRITERIA TO REGISTER
You can register to vote if you will be 18 years old by Election Day, a resident of Colorado and a U.S. citizen and lived at your place of residency 22 days prior to the election.

STEP 2 - FILL OUT THE REGISTRATION FORM
You may fill out the application online if you have a valid Colorado driver’s license. Go to www.pitkinvotes.org to access online registration.
If you do not have a Colorado driver’s license, you can print out the registration form and mail it into the Pitkin County Clerk’s office at 530 East Main Street, Aspen, CO 81611 up to 8 days before the election or bring it in to the Clerk’s office up to and including Election Day.
On Election Day you may also register in one of the Voting Centers in Pitkin County in addition to the Clerk’s Office: Snowmass Village Town Hall and Grace Church in Emma.

STEP 3 - IDENTIFICATION
If you do not have a Colorado driver’s license, your identity must be verified. You may mail a copy of whichever identification you choose to use or bring it into the Clerk’s office (or, if you plan to vote at one of the other Voting Centers on Election Day, to one of those Voting Centers). STEP 4 - ACCURATE RECORDS
Check to be sure your registration has been received and that the records correctly show the address to which you would like your mail-in ballot sent. Go to www.pitkinvotes.org.
